About Us

Creating a Family is 501(c)(3) nonprofit providing education and support for infertility and adoption.  We started as a labor of love because we saw a need for an unbiased source of information on infertility and adoption. Our mantra is "Information is Power".  We aren’t promoting infertility treatment, or adoption, or any particular type of adoption. We think that you can decide what’s best for you, if you have accurate, complete information. We admit up front that we would love for every child in this world to have a family, and we would especially love to help find homes for older kids and kids with special needs. But, we know that this is not the right decision for every family, and we want to help every family find the right path to parenthood.
