Yeah!! The U.S. House of Representatives passed the bipartisan Fostering Connections to Success Act (HR 6307) on June 24. Thanks for all of you who contacted your representatives and asked for their support. The incentives program for foster care adoptions is set to expire in September 2008. Representatives Jim McDermott (D-WA) and Jerry Weller (R-IL) just introduced a bipartisan proposal, H.R. 6307, the Fostering Connections to Success Act, that would extend the Adoption Incentive Program.
