As most of you know, I am a mom of four through both birth and adoption.  This blog will be about adoption- all types- and adoptive parenting. I know those are the topics that bring most of you to this site, but at times it will look like a plain old parenting or mommy blog because after awhile that’s what adoptive parenting becomes—just plain old parenting with all the joy and angst that exalted and exhausting state brings.  There are of course differences that adoption brings to the parenting table, but in my experience there are far more similarities between parenting children by birth and adoption than there are differences.  I look forward to sharing the ups and downs of my journey, as well as what I’m finding out in my research on these topics.
