Thank you for all you do to help educate us and to let us know each day that we aren't suffereing alone. Even though you adopted, you don't make the rest of us feel like there is something wrong with us for not doing that. I really feel you compassion and that's why look forward to reading your blog every week.

We live abroad and information is hard to come by on miscarriages here and I really appreciate this blog on the research and especially the shows you've done on it as well. I know the doctor on your show was really encouraging about most people like me getting pregnant and I hang onto that thought all the time. thank you.

After having my 4th miscarriage last month, I am taking you advice in your show and I'm going to go to a specialist. there has got to be a problem somewhere that can be fixed. If one more person tells me it is for the best, I will scream and probably attack them.

Mistie, it's my pleasure. it was a fun conference. I was like a kid in a candy store getting to interview all the great researchers. I know it sometimes seems slow, but real progress is being made in treating this disease.

This is not science I know, as it is only a testimonial. But my Aunt had 4 misscarriages in a row without a successful term pregnancy when her doctor recommended low dose aspirin and with her next two pregnancies she carried her babies to term. With her they figured that she was throwing tiny clots that were depriving the placenta of blood flow and causing it to die and thus causing a misscarriage (always before 12 weeks, when the placenta is still relatively small). So while low dose aspirin may not work for everyone as the studies are showing, there may be a segment of the population that this is a solution for.
