How to Find an Infertility Doctor or Infertility Clinic Ob/Gyn's can treat infertility, but in my opinion, if you have been trying for a year (under 35), six months (35-40), or three to four months (over 40), I would recommend at least getting a second opinion from a board certified reproductive endocrinologist. The best source for finding one is at the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) website, find a doctor page. - Ask your Ob/Gyn and primary care doctor for recommendations for a reproductive endocrinologist. Ask family and friends. You'll be surprised how many people have been down this road before you. If that feels too public for you right now, then go online and ask for recommendations. We list some great online support groups.
