  • I Never Held You: Miscarriage, Grief, Healing and Recovery by Ellen DuBois and Dr. Linda Backman- One woman's story of dealing with the pain after a miscarriage, supplemented with information from a grief counselor about how to work through the grief. Contains some religious overtones.
  • Empty Cradle, Broken Heart: Surviving the Death of Your Baby by Deborah Davis- Covering a wide range of topics (including loss in a multiples birth, support for fathers, medical intervention, and how to parent other children after a loss), this book provides support for those who have suffered through miscarriage and stillbirth.
  • Miscarriage: Women Sharing from the Heart by Marie Allen and Shelly Marks- This book contains the personal stories of 100 women who has suffered pregnancy loss, as well as interviews of fathers about their experience.
  • A Silent Sorrow: Pregnancy Loss- Guidance and Support for You and Your Family by Ingrid Kohn and Perry-Lynn Moffitt- Written by a counselor and social worker, this book discusses ways to cope with pregnancy loss, and how to deal with family and friends' expectations and grief.
  • Trying Again: A Guide to Pregnancy After Miscarriage, Stillbirth, and Infant Loss by Ann Douglas and John R. Sussman- This book is geared toward people who have suffered pregnancy loss and have the option of trying again. It provides support for determining if you are physically and emotionally ready for another pregnancy.
