I will interview UNICEF Guatemala representatives Dr. Manuel Manrique and Kelley Bunkers about what is currently happening with Guatemalan adoptions, UNICEF's position, and what the future holds.

Oct. 24: What's on the Horizon for Infertility Treatment- Dr. Carlene Elsner

I will talk about the future of infertility treatment with Dr. Carlene Elsner, a board certified reproductive endocrinologist and Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology with over 30 years of experience treating infertility.

Oct. 31: Keeping Infertility Treatments Affordable and Legal

Even as more couples are facing infertility, the treatment of this disease is under attack. Political movements are threatening some of the basic techniques for treating infertility and lack of insurance coverage threatens even more. Tune in to find out what is happening and what you can do about it. I will interview Dr. Andrew Toledo, a board certified Reproductive Endocrinologist and the Legislative Chair of the Georgia Obstetrical and Gynecological Society, and Renee Whitley, co-chair of the Advocacy Committee of Resolve.

Nov. 7: Answers to common questions at the very beginning of the adoption journey

I will interview Susan Caughman, editor of Adoptive Families Magazine, about the questions families often ask at the beginning. Should you choose domestic or international, what if you are ready but your spouse is not, how to choose a country if you decide on international?

Nov. 14: An Interview with Deborah Gray, author of "Attaching in Adoption"

I will interview Deborah Gray, a clinical social worker specializing in attachment issues and author of the book "Attaching in Adoption". Ms. Gray has worked for over 20 years in counseling adoptive and foster families as well as adoptees and foster kids. We will talk about what to expect when you are first home, what is normal, what is worrisome behavior, what parents can do to help with attachment, and how to tell if your child is at risk.

Nov. 21: Adopting after Infertility

I will interview Pat Johnston, adoption and infertility educator and advocate and author of the new book Adopting: Sound Choices, Strong Families (which replaces the earlier Adopting after Infertility). We will talk about how infertility affects parenting and how to transition from infertility to adoption.

Nov. 28: Psychological Issues with Infertility Treatment

I will interview Dr. Linda D. Applegarth, Professor of Psychology and Director of Psychological Services at the Center for Reproductive Medicine & Infertility at Cornell University, and an infertility counselor with over 20 years experience. We will talk about how to survive and even thrive while in treatment, and how to address the thorny decisions you will likely face along the way.

Dec. 5: Twenty Things Adopted Kids Wish Their Adoptive Parents Knew

Eldridge, author of the books Twenty Things Adopted Kids Wish Their Adoptive Parents Knew and Forever Fingerprints, about the 20 key issues that can potentially damage relationships between adoptees and their families and what parents can do to help. Highlights from this show

Dec. 12: Alternative Treatments for Infertility

I will interview Dr. Randine Lewis, author of The Infertility Cure, about using traditional Chinese medicine on its own or in combination with the latest Western-based reproductive technology to increase your odds of having a healthy baby.

Dec. 19: Having Your Baby Through Egg Donation

I will interview Ellen Glazer, author of Having Your Baby Through Egg Donation, about the ethical, legal, economic, and emotional considerations of choosing to have a baby through egg donation. We will discuss how to find and select an egg donor, who should you tell, and how it affects the marriage and parenting relationships.
