Post Adoption Services Offered: CAS will assist you with your post adoption reports, re-finalization, and will be a support for you when you return and for the years following. During the post-adoption or post-placement process, a social worker follows up with you and your child to make sure you are adjusting well and have the support/resources that you need. The most important aspect of the post-adoption/post-placement period is to have a social worker who is specialized in the area of attachment and adoption issues, available to help you during your adjustment period, and as needed throughout the life of the child.
